Inland Fishing Tours

Luke has been a keen fisherman for many years, starting from an early age when he fished with his Grandparents on the Lachlan River, learning the importance of strong knots and accurate placement of bait. He has been fishing for 30 years in a variety of locations, however, it is the Murrumbidgee River that is closest to his heart.

Luke’s love of fishing has rubbed off on his family and friends, many of whom he has introduced to the sport, patiently baiting their hooks and de-snagging their lures from sunken trees, to recreate for them the feeling of joy he gets from catching a fish. Luke holds the relevant licencing for Inland Waters and maintains current Public Liability Insurance.

When you book a fishing tour with Luke, you will be treated like a member of the family.

His extensive knowledge of the river system will guide the decisions you make together to increase the chances of making your day on the river a success.

Luke is adept at all styles of fishing the Murrumbidgee - from surface lures, hard bodies, spinnerbaits and bait, so no matter the conditions of the weather or the water level of the river, he will recommend the technique most likely to bring you fishing success.

We plan to not only help you catch a fish on the day of the tour, but to give you the knowledge to be able to go to the river with you family and friends and catch fish for yourself.

Depending on seasonal conditions, you may find spend some time on the boat catching your own bait in the form of freshwater shrimp, and in the open season, there is always the option to drop in a few pots to catch a Murray Crayfish while you fish.
